Carolyn Key, DVM

I am a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, where I earned my Bachelors of Veterinary Science, followed by my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. I feel so fortunate to have a  career which I truly love, as well as to be in a position to help pets and their people. I began my career in Dallas and gradually moved west, practicing in Irving, Southlake, and now Fort Worth. Fort Worth is my hometown, where I grew up knowing I wanted to become a veterinarian.

 In 2020, I started working here at South Meadow Animal Clinic. I particularly enjoy small animal medicine, dermatology, and endocrinolog.

 I am a bit animal crazy and have my share of pets at home. My family and I live in a rural area where I have 2 dogs, 7 cats, chickens, and a goat. Apparently, animals know where they can find me!                           My interests outside of work include spending time outdoors on the lake or beach, fishing, hiking, gardening and playing with pets.
